The wait is over! High School Musical trilogy ends starting today! Awww...so sad.
Since 2006, "High School Musical" spawned a TV-movie sequel that became the most watched program in basic cable history; a 42-city, sold-out concert tour; a hit reality TV series; and "HSM3," which is one of the most anticipated films this fall.
"We are a part of something that has become a global phenomenon," said Ortega, a man who knows a few things about wildly popular musicals, as he choreographed the original "Dirty Dancing" with Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey more than two decades ago.

In "High School Musical 3: Senior Year," the East Central High School Wildcats sing and dance their way through the big game, prom, decisions about their futures and finally, graduation.
Will Troy (the jock) and Gabriella (the smart girl) try to stay together after they get their diplomas?
Will Sharpay (the diva) and Ryan (the guy diva) become the superstars they always dreamed of?
Will anybody point out that bursting into song and dance in a real high school would get a student detention, like, forever?
And it's cool if the songs from "HSM3" get stuck in your head. Just try to sing them softly so the teachers don't get mad.
